We encourage all Student-Athletes to ride the bus with their team, but if the parents need to transport them after an event a Private Transportation Form should be completed and returned to the main office or Athletic Office at least 2 days prior to the requested trip. You may download this form here.
During school, Student-Athletes must be in school (signed in) by 8:18am for 9th grade and 9:00am for MS students to be able to participate in practices and matches for that day. If they have a doctor's note and their tardy is excused they are permitted to practice and wrestle. Student-Athletes who miss 20 or more school days in the previous semester may be ineligible and may not be able to participate in athletics.
9th-12th grade Student-Athletes must be taking and maintain a passing grade in five units per week during the season of participation and each marking period. Since the modified block can be divided into eight units each day (one unit for skinny classes, two units for full blocks), a HS Student-Athlete must be passing at least five units per week to be academically eligible. Grades will be checked on a weekly basis (Friday) and if academically ineligible they would be ineligible from the following Monday through Saturday. This means they can practice, but are NOT permitted to travel with the team, sit with the team nor dress for matches. Once report cards are distributed, grades are re-checked, if ineligible, the Student-Athlete is ineligible for 15 school days. The Student-Athlete will be notified if they are ineligible.
